From March 27, 2024, it will not be possible to drive from Lexmond or Vianen to the Field Study Center with impunity between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM on weekdays due to the municipality’s approach to cut-through traffic. You will be flashed at the exit to Hei-en Boeicop, the Heicopperweg. Departing via the A27 near Lexmond is also not allowed with impunity during those times.

SCANNING QR CODE
If you happen to pass a traffic warning sign between 3 and 7 pm on a workday, you can cancel the fine by scanning the QR code on the notice board in the dining room of the field study center the same day and filling in the requested information.
The Veldstudiecentrum can be reached from the A2 via exit 12 Leerdam Everdingen on weekdays between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Take the N484 towards Leerdam and after about 1.5 km take the Hei-en Boeicop exit. Drive along this road through the village for about 6 km and you will reach the Veldstudiecentrum. During the weekend (Saturday/Sunday), and during the rest of the day outside the indicated times (3:00 PM and 7:00 PM), it is possible to arrive from Vianen or Lexmond (A27).
Departure: to the left at the exit of the Veldstudiecentrum you can always take the direction of Lexmond and then the Provincial road to Vianen (A2).
Departure: to the right at the exit of the Veldstudiecentrum then you can go to the A2 via the N484.
